How to Find the File Path on a Mac

[ 0 ] September 18, 2016 |

I was having a hard time finding a photo file on my Mac recently. When I put the keywords in the search bar, the folder came up as being on my desktop. However, when I went to the desktop, the folder wasn’t there. The only explanation was that the folder was stored inside another folder, however without the file path, I couldn’t find it. Unlike the PC, the file path doesn’t come up automatically in the search bar so it was quite frustrating. Since I wasn’t able to figure out how to get to the file path on the Mac, I turned to YouTube! This video was fantastic and now I no longer have to worry about hidden folders and files.  Hope you find it as useful as I did.
